Meaning of SUAMOX:

According to legend Muisca of culture Chibcha, (native that populated Colombian the $andes), SUA is the Mother Earth, and MOX is the Father Sun which takes like “SUAMOX the dwelling where the Sun lies”, that is the love or the creation.

Suamox started on october 1999 with the acquisition of an extension of 230 acres. We found thearea and its ecosystem affected, therefore we inmediately started to forest andrecover the area. Now, the area it is great in vegetation and animals (seeattached lists). As well we have improved the secondary rainforests, there is alot of fruits and tropical flowers as well.

Taking care of the landscape has been also a priority for us, therefore we built at strategic areas some places to rest

with pure water. There are many internal roads according to the area.

When the food we were producing grew at the area, we started receiving tourists, since then we have been processing our own fruits with the help of neighbor communities.

rator.
